What a year early 2010 to early 2011 has been.  Thanks to all of our awesome clients, Gossip is now officially one year old!  After one year of amazing growth, all of us at Gossip Salon are excited to let you know we are expanding and moving.

New location starting April 1, 2011

525 South State in Clearfield

3 miles directly south of our current location, on the same road.
Across the street from Maceys.

We will be moving to a new location by April 1st, 2011.  No April Fools joke either   We are excited to move to a larger location and to a facility that has an open parking lot.  No more crazy parking.  Yay!  Our new location will include:

• A larger shared parking lot with upwards of nearly 50 parking spots
• Additional stylist stations within the salon
• And coming soon… an aesthetics room for private waxing and makeup! 

Gossip has grown, Grown, GROWN!

On a personal note from the owners, Damon and Aleah… We have had such a fun time growing with all of our clients and stylists over the last year that we wanted to share with you some of the exciting things we have experienced during that year.

Gossip Hair Salon started out as an idea of ours about 3 years ago.  With my wife, Aleah, being a nail tech we thought about offering a salon that was fun, but simple.  Something nicer than the out-of-the-box hair cut stores, but nothing too upscale that it made you feel uncomfortable just walking in.  A salon somewhere right in the middle.  Somewhere you felt comfortable walking into.  We took our time to do things right and planned during the years that followed.  We then found a location and purchased the salon equipment and started recruiting a staff of hair stylists and nail techs that our future clients would enjoy being around.  Once we had that all in line we began moving into what would soon become Gossip Salon’s first home.

Gossip Loves Our Local Community

We believe that Gossip can only grow if we grow by embracing our local community.  Some of the best times we have had with the salon is taking part in community events outside of the salon.  All of our staff are like family and we enjoy getting out together.  In the last year we have had a lot of fun meeting everyone out in our community at local festivals, fairs and shows.  We look forward to doing many more local events during the summer of 2011.

Our First Expansion

Thanks to our great clientele and the kindness of them referring their friends and family, Gossip Salon grew quickly.  Just a few months into opening we expanded within our same building and added 2 new stylist stations, a few new hair stylists and a new nail tech.  Here is a before and after pic of our first expansion.

The Gossip Salon family keeps growing…
in more ways than one 

In addition to an amazing year of growth and additions within the salon family, my wife and I added to our own family.  We welcomed our first baby into the world this year.  We have enjoyed sharing him with everyone and thank our stylists and clients for the warm “hello” and “awww” comments we get each time we bring our little man into the salon.

In closing, my wife and I would like to thank our clients and stylists, friends and family and all of those that have helped with past remodels and moves for everything over the last year.  We would have never imagined how successful Gossip Salon would be in its first year.  We couldn’t have done it without all of you and we look forward to opening more locations of Gossip and to many more years of growth.
